About Allis
Warm, articulate, fluent, highly versatile female voice. Can do mellifluous, quirky, smooth reads. Excellent for audio books and documentary narration especially natural world and history. Can also do exciting, upbeat, pacey, powerful delivery. Experienced reader of BBC news, iconic Radio 4 Shipping Forecast and Voice of Wimbledon Tennis. Cartoon voices and accents too if required! Very good sight-reader and one-take for those who want fast results. If you need someone with excellent diction, intelligent delivery, warmth and authority or quirkiness as required - that's Allis.

- Experience, training, and equipmentExperienced in the broadcast and podcast industry, Allis is a professional voiceover and narrator, with credits including national TV and radio continuity, commercials, sports announcing and corporate events in the UK and Europe. You might have seen or heard her behind the mic on Centre Court at Wimbledon. She's also the voice of the lift at the All England Lawn Tennis Club! TV commercials Allis voiced include Ryvita, Britannia Building Society and a health campaign for the UK Government. Allis was chosen for the latter after an audience voted her the most believable voice. Allis has also worked as a newsreader on BBC World Service and read the iconic Shipping Forecast on Radio 4. Other strings on her bow are her work as a writer/journalist, speaking disgracefully rusty fluent French and a PhD in modern history. Allis is highly professional and flexible and works across genres, material and styles. She does film and corporate narration, talking books, manuals, telephone voice systems such as 'Japan Airlines' and was the English voice host and translator for the Fine Leather goods trade fair in Paris. Allis has reported and presented for international English-language stations across Europe such as for Radio Netherlands Worldwide and Radio France Internationale. She has contributed to flagship BBC radio programmes including 'From Our Own Correspondent' and 'Witness History'.
