While I am familiar with recording studios, due to ADR and other post production, I don't have an extensive voice over resume. I have worked on "American Dad!" for FOX, and worked with an experienced cast in a professional atmosphere. My professional demos were recorded in both Los Angeles and Chicago, and that exposure has prepared me for working in a variety of different environments with different equipment. I have been a working actor since the year 2000 (I started at the age of 4) and a working musician since the year 2014. Voice over is something that has always interested me, and I would love to try to start building my resume in the field.
I have been a working actor since 2000, at the age of 4. I have worked with a number of different acting coaches, as well as in a number of different Second City courses in both Chicago and Los Angeles:
Dennis LaValle - scene study, Los Angeles
John Homa - scene study, Los Angeles
Andrew Magarian - private coach, scene study, Los Angeles
Marnie Cooper - group coaching, scene study, Los Angeles
The Second City - teen conservatory, Los Angeles
The Second City - improv classes, Chicago
I am a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, with an Associates Degree in Performance Guitar. This led to experience in recording studios, as well as becoming certified in Pro Tools. Prior to that, I graduated from Providence High School in Burbank, CA, where I was a part of the Media Focus Program. Throughout my years in that program, we worked with all types of media and learned how to work with the equipment and software necessary to put together a quality, finished product. One project that we completed was to put together a 10 minute radio show. We used different programs and sound booths, recorded our own "commercials," did news and weather updates, and presented a finished project with one of the top grades in the class.
Having been a working actor for over 15 years and a trained musician, I am well versed in the entertainment industry. I know the importance of being timely, taking direction and making adjustments, and getting the job done correctly and quickly.
