Since 1984 I have been a theatrical character actress, starting with the stage, and then for video. Accents and voice inflections have always come fairly easy to me and I have enjoyed using voices to communicate various emotions, personalities and genres.
Some of my recent work includes:
Theatre in the Pines - character actress 1996-2001
"lil'Iguana" - voice over for puppet characters for television pilot - 2003
"The Green House" - Vistavox Entertainment - voice for main characters, animation, commercials, puppetry - 2004 - present
Spooz the Cat - voices for puppetry 2003-present
Rabbles the Rabbit - voices for puppetry 2004-present
Theater Arts, Gloucester, MA - 1982-1986
International Thespians, Gloucester, MA - 1984-1986
Performed in Germany and Quebec.
Workshop for Television and Modeling, Boston, MA - 1996 & 1997 (now the Cameo Agency, Waltham, MA)
Montserrat College of Art 1987 - 1990
Houston Museum School of Fine Art 1990
Montserrat College of Art 1992-1993 - BFA
At Montserrat I studied annimation, illustration, filmmaking, videomaking, and sound editing in addition to more the traditional fine arts.
Theatre in the Pines - 1996 - 2001
Performed in both US and England. Most roles are character or comedic roles.
Private Television puppetry lessons with Nikki Tilroe 1999-2002
Nikki worked with Jim Henson and Kermit Love training puppeteers for international Sesame Street.
Currently, I have been involved an independent sitcom that includes puppetry, live action, annimation, and music. I have worked as a producer, co-director,writer, talent, and editor (using AVID Xpress Pro).
Again, I may not have studied at the more prestigious places, but I have always been very good at voice work and the directors have been top notch. Also,I have a certain knack for characters - something that can not be taught. I have a good ear for quality production standards.

Well heck, I have a great compassion for people and seem to act like a sponge around people with intresting accents, mannerisms, etc.
I have a respect many "old school" performers and their sense of comedic timing - which to me, is when things were really and truely funny.
