With fifteen years in front of a microphone and live audiences as a classical music presenter at American Public Media and host of the nationally syndicated radio program SymphonyCast, communicating in an authentic and effective manner comes naturally to me.
Life before radio gave me the extraordinary opportunity to perform as a professional flutist with the Boston, Atlanta and Houston Symphonies, recording and making solo appearances on five continents. Exacting standards as well as attention to detail and follow-through to achieve an exceptional finished product are de rigueur in that world and are always a part of my voice over tool box.
I hold a Masters Degree in Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of Southern California. In addition, I have received further training in vocal performance with Anne Ganguzza, Beth Chaplin and Raye Birk.
My home studio: *Sennheiser MK4 Microphone *Audient iD4 Interface *custom-built double walled professional studio. In addition to voice acting, I am a flutist, singer, bicyclist, kayaker, rock climber, cross country skier and log distance backpacker.
