Hey, I'm Alison. I've been voicing commercial spots and promos, narrating training videos, e-learning modules, and longform pieces, and greeting your customers via your voicemail systems for more than 25 years. My voice is often described as warm, friendly, sensual, or authoritative—depending on the read—and I bring an authentic Southern accent when needed. I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia, and work from a broadcast-quality home studio with remote-ready capabilities.
Before focusing on voice acting, I built a career as a broadcast journalist and communications pro with serious writing credentials. I’ve hosted and produced podcasts, contributed to NPR interview shows, and interviewed hundreds of authors, experts, and everyday people—both in studios and live on stage. Those years behind the mic shaped my instincts, range, and ability to connect with listeners quickly and naturally.
I’m also president of Alison Law Communications, a company I founded in 2006 to help creatives, professionals, and organizations tell more compelling stories. My clients have included bestselling authors, major corporations, government agencies, public relations firms, and nonprofits. I’ve led book campaigns, programmed literary festivals, and championed voices in publishing. I'm WABE’s “Bookmarked” contributor.
When I’m not recording or working with clients, I’m usually planning my next trip with my husband Zach or hanging out with our cats, Soy and Skitty. Thanks for listening—and I look forward to working with you.
