My history in radio dates back to 1968. I started at age 14 working in college FM radio; held the FCC 3rd Class Permit with Broadcast Endorsement for 12 years; and was an instructor in a broadcasting school in California in the 1970's. My major market radio experience included stints at the #4 station in Kansas City as well as KLBJ Radio in Austin, Texas. I won state and national news awards from Associated Press Broadcasters for Spot News Coverage in 1981. I continue to provide radio commercials for clients as well as message-on-hold advertising for an expanded client base. I'm also an Austin Powers Impersonator and have performed in front of TV cameras doing live appearances, voiceovers and commercials for Legend Kia and the Lion & Rose British Restaurant & Pub, in conjunction with FOX29 and MY35 TV stations in San Antonio as part of sweeps month in November 2007. I have FTP capability and I can also email your spots directly to the station. I use Audioactive software to encode and decode and can do voice insertions and voiceover drops if necessary. I studied piano for seven years under the tutilage of a New England conservatory piano teacher that was trained by a student of famed Hungarian composer Franz Liszt. I learned all of my basic radio skills from two universities ... the School of Hard Knocks and the school of On-The-Job Training. At age 15, I realized I could do character voices and began mimicking characters as I watched them on TV and in movies. I can and have switched from one voice character to another in a split second and then back to another ... I have performed in front of stadium crowds as large as 18,000 people from coast to coast. I also attended the Missouri Auction School and am an auctioneer! I have vast experience in creative copywriting! I can help you design, build and enhance your project to whatever degree you desire! I also have a major sound effects library in addition to several thousand music beds which I own the licensing rights to. I can build complete voice-over-music spots and generally have 24-hour turnaround time ... as this is all I do for a living ... this is NOT my part time job. I have a large telephone message-on-hold client base that I regularly serve, from concert ticket outlets to manufacturers to professionals like doctors, dentists and attorneys.
