Adam Whisner's professional life has centered around microphones for the past two-and-a-half decades, doing broadcast commercial radio, TV, internet, and corporate/educational projects. His voice has been used by clients like Best Buy, Target, Subway, Toro, Discovery Channel, Old Navy, Indian Motorcycles, Lee Ann Chin, and United Health Care, to name only a few. He's also been the long-running brand voice of Papa Murphy's Pizza, Furniture Row, and most recently Callaway Golf Company.
Adam's style encompasses a wide age and timbre range, delivering consistent, nuanced performances from product spokesmen and corporate narrators, to comical yet believable characters, as well as the conversational everyman. He can be easy and natural for engaged e-learning scripts, smart and precise when walking through dense subject matter, project the authentic vibe a luxury brand requires, or spin up a quirky, high-energy style to keep your listeners leaning in.
As an actor with extensive experience on the mic, on-camera, and on stage, Adam is adept at taking direction, interpreting your script, and bringing copy to life. He works quickly and efficiently with an eye on the clock, making sure that you get the read you're looking for while leaving time for alternate takes.
Though most of his voice acting career has been spent in recording studios in the Twin Cities, Adam's home studio delivers broadcast quality audio that has been used in local, regional, national, and international projects since early 2020.
