I've been around the voice and production industry for many years via various friends and family. Using voiceover work as a career choice is fairly new to me however the work isn't - my voice has been used on adverts, mainstream radio shows and satellite television channels in the past, always as a favour!
I regularly present a gadget review feature into Capital radio in London which also has a regular podcast, I've featured on Wedding tv in the UK and have been interviewed on numerous occasions for various media. I'm currently in the process of voicing a tv documentary based on the internet poker explosion.
Training has always been on the job for me. I've worked with some of the most amazing artists, actors and presenters who have always imparted their skills and expertise.
I've attended various workshops relative to using mac based production programs specific to voicover and podcast work.
I regularly assist Londons top entertainment journalist in interviewing and editing interviews for air on her radio show.
I use a Macbook as a mobile studio and tend to take it everywhere with me so I'm always ready for action.
My main studio and soundbooth in London is shared with and managed by Intrusion UK who provide the musical talent behind advert productions. We use professional production software, enhanced by a plethora of 'bells and whistles' sound and compression equipment. Our current ventures vary from advertising projects to film scores to pop single productions.
Our strengths lie in our specialist areas. I do the voicework and Intrusion handle the production of projects. As a team we provide a perfect service.
I produce a regular gadget review feature for print and podcast so have a good knowledge of most things gadget related.
I have a great interest in sport, in particular cycling and triathlon so tend to enthuse about those things in particular.
I have an in depth knowledge and probably more experience of poker than I should have so can confidently comment on standard plays, calculating odds etc.
In the past I've run my own tiling firm so have a good in depth knowledge of the UK building industry and find my voice well suited to the 'builder geezer' kind of character.
