Hi, I’m Sally. I’m a voiceover artist and actor, trained at ArtsEducational, London. My recent work includes narrating an audiobook about love, corporate explainers and playing a vengeful vampire in a radio drama. But don’t let the vampire part scare you: most listeners describe my natural voice as sophisticated, soothing and velvety. My native accent is RP.
I’ve also spent more than 10 years as a subeditor on national newspapers including The Sunday Times, worked in television for companies including Buena Vista Productions and worked for a year in Stockholm writing financial news for SEB. This experience means I’m familiar with the corporate world and ready and willing to help tweak your script if necessary to ensure it’s the best it can be.
Sensitive, intuitive and constantly curious, all these threads are linked by my love of storytelling and personal connection. I am always thinking about feelings. I’ve volunteered for charities including Mind, The Association for Postnatal Illness and most recently, Alexandra Palace, taking a “sensory suitcase” into Haringey care homes to work with residents with dementia. I’m interested in yoga, meditation and mindfulness and I’m passionate about the arts and their benefits for mental health and personal development.
I have a professional home-studio set up for voiceover and am able to record and deliver to you quickly and efficiently in your required format.
I would love to help you bring a compassionate, empathic voice to your project.
