I’m a voice actress and character designer who’s been working in the wild, wonderful world of animation for nearly a decade. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been the one in the corner studying and observing people as they walked by. Quirks, gestures, weird walks—I noticed it all. I’d compile all their nuances and would let my imagination run wild making up each stranger’s personality and backstory. I’d come up with all kinds of ideas of what exact recipe of experiences came together to create what made each of them—well, them. Fast forward to today, and not much has changed… except now I get to make a career out of bringing those stories and characters to life—whether that’s through my design work or through my voice. And I’m so lucky that I get to do it every day.
