This experience has given me a deep understanding of marketing, advertising, and the art of interpreting copy to effectively connect with consumers. My nickname, Quiet Fire, was given to me by Radio Hall of Fame icon Hal Jackson during my time at WBLS/WLIB in New York City. It perfectly captures my personality—and my voice: international, smoky, and smooth. I have a distinctive vocal texture with a natural touch of grit, rasp, and gravel that makes my sound uniquely memorable. Growing up trilingual (English, German, and Spanish) shaped my voice into something refreshingly ambiguous—an American accent that’s hard to place, blending a hint of New York with an international flair. I also speak French, adding further versatility to my linguistic range. People often ask where I’m from, unable to pinpoint my accent, which gives my voice a global appeal. During my time in New York radio, voiceover took a back seat, as my unconventional accent wasn’t widely embraced. Instead, I built a thriving career behind the scenes in Programming, Marketing, and Sales. However, I kept my VO passion alive by occasionally voicing commercials for direct and small business clients. After leaving radio, I founded Quiet Fire Entertainment, became a tour manager for major bands, and spent a decade traveling the world. Now, I’ve returned to my first love—voiceover—fully committed and ready to dive back in as if I never left. I’m honing my craft through ongoing training with renowned coaches and dedicating myself to VO full-time. My German is Hochdeutsch with a touch of Bavarian influence. I began my radio and voiceover journey in Germany at Radio W1, Radio Gong, and Radio Charivari, where I voiced commercials and worked as a reporter. While earning my degree in Political Science and Economics at the University of Munich, I also worked in radio and TV at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Today, I offer both English and German voiceover services on Voice123.com. As a native German speaker with dual USA/Germany citizenship, I am fluent and professionally trained in both languages. I am also proficient in Spanish and French (colloquial/conversational).
