- Experience, training, and equipmentHello! I’m Paula Gammon Wilson, the Owner/Director of Pepsqually VO and Sound Design, Inc. (NYC) and Pepsqually Portugal, LDA (Lisbon) - award-winning, companion, boutique audio houses dedicated to sound for all media, with a decided soft spot for children’s programming. I started my career in theater in the late 90s working as a professional Stage Manager and Production Stage Manager. I subsequently combined my production work with a professional dance career. The combination of those skills lead to several years managing dance festivals and performing arts venues. Which turned into a career directing and choreographing musicals internationally. Which lead to opening my own audio studio, Pepsqually VO and Sound Design, Inc. in 2014, and then Pepsqually Portugal, LDA in 2020. (Since that is the most obvious career trajectory ever.) I grew Pepsqually from one rented studio, one engineer, and one animated series with seven cast members to four engineers, two studios, eight translator/flap-adapters, two composers, and a roster of nearly 200 actors voicing projects in 18 languages. As of 2025, the projects for which Pepsqually has provided voice over performance direction, casting, and/or sound design have received eleven Parents' Choice Awards, two Kidscreen Awards (among four nominations), one NAACP Image Award nomination, and one Children's and Family Emmy nomination. The streaming/digital-first animated projects for which Pepsqually has provided voice over direction, casting, and/or sound design, have collectively amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube alone.
