You may recognize me as the voice of Direct TV from several years ago, or just from the many other on and off camera commercial jobs I've done. I've been very blessed to have worked in the voice over industry for well over 15 years. I've been on-camera for 20 years now in over 100 National Commercials and recently a year stint on a Nickelodeon show, "Marvin Marvin" as "Mom Liz".
I have recently found a great love of reading AudioBooks. I have a terrific in home studio that affords me the flexibility to get jobs done ON time in My time! By using a different name, I am more than happy to use my deep, raspy voice for more "adult" material.
I graduated from Duke University with a BA where I also took many voice classes including dialect coaching. Getting my classical training in NYC with Lee Strasberg's protege Susan Cohen, I have been Off-Broadway in NYC with Michelle Williams and Scott Glenn in Tracy Lett's "Killer Joe". My VO career took off in NYC and has stayed with me in LA. I continue to do on-camera work as well as theater here in Los Angeles.
I LOVE collaborating and I take direction extremely well in addition to bringing my own ideas to the table. I have "tech support" on hand in my studio if things need adjusting in that arena, as well! I am a hard, committed worker and artist who takes great pride in my projects and I look forward to bringing my years of experience, wisdom, and creativity to your next job...as well as my terrific voice!
