I'm a native Finnish speaker, also fluent in English, offering voice-over work in both languages from my home studio in Auckland, New Zealand. My English accent is a genuine 'neutral melting pot' – shaped by Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, and my Canadian partner – and adapts well to short scripts and character work. There's not a hint of typical Finnish accent in it, but I can definitely switch it on for you. Outside the booth, I'm a keen cook, a committed Eurovision Song Contest fan (Käärijä is the best!), and I follow the NZ All Blacks rugby closely. I stay closely connected to Finnish language and culture, and I love the process of finding the right tone for a script, whether that's a character voice or getting a line's rhythm just right.

      Professional experience includes the 2009 Finnish-language dubbing of three Les Mills fitness programmes (BODYCOMBAT, BODYBALANCE, BODYVIVE) for a global Nestlé Fitness campaign, the 'Buy Me' chook character for Oxfam Unwrapped, and a radio ad rap for Helsinki retailer Kuvatapio. Background also includes drama training during a US exchange year (a dramatic duet from 'Agnes of God', placing second at a large regional competition) and a long-standing background in DJ/MC work and hosting two Finnish radio shows. Recording setup: RØDE PodMic USB microphone, suspended inside a custom-built home sound booth, via GarageBand/Audacity.
