I have been a performer - voice talent, singer/songwriter, musician for a lifetime!
Besides the many narrations for companies from Coca-Cola to Bell Helicopter, commercials from 1-800-Flowers to The Dallas Morning News, scads of IVR systems from Amtrak to Thomasville Furniture, I have voiced on the fly when part of a production team at a live corporate event & the client didn't realize they needed announcements - I jumped in. I have voiced an audio book (which was very poorly written!) & had to alter my voice to portray ALL characters male & female! I have acted as the voice of kiosks in the middle of huge trade shows & as the trainer for pilots at flight schools. I have played the parts of animal characters for children's videos.
I have been an on-camera spokesperson for many of the above as well.
As a singer/songwriter, I have opened shows for David Bowie & been on Lilith Fair with Sarah McLachlan, among others. I have performed jingles, singing about things like chicken & cars.
I was a rock radio DJ at KZEW-FM in Dallas. Morning Drive Show side-kick "character" responding to anything & everything the main hosts threw at me. Produced various shows as well. Also, night host.
I have coached (very selectively) new voice talent to hone their physical vocal skills & to understand copy interpretation & delivery.
In addition to voice-over work, I am currently a public speaker as well, inspiring others to recognize & claim their highest, most excellent selves.

Have produced many events involving live & recorded voice in conjunction with Omega Audio & Productions when co-located with Video Post & Transfer & also live events for Gemini Lighting, Sound, & Video. Have written & edited many scripts as well.
I use both Mac & PC in my own small studio, depending on application.
Pro Tools, Sound Forge
Shure KSM44 mic with access to other high end mics, if needed.
I am an expert at audio editing (many years experience).
Plug-ins for max. noise reduction with no signal loss. I take much pride in recording projects at high quality, then converting them to the necessary file parameters for a client's needs. Quality on the front end achieves the highest quality on the back end!
I specialize in cold reading - I am able to read & interpret scripts with subject matter that I have no knowledge of, while sounding like I'm an expert in the field. This is a huge plus for clients with difficult, technical, proprietary scripts, as they save a lot of money due to my ability to do this with extremely minimal mistakes.
I am an eagle-eye proofer. I catch mistakes coming ahead as I read & pre-edit in my head, lessening editing time on the back end. I quite often catch potentially costly mistakes upon first seeing a script, so that I can inquire & save the client time & money once recording starts.
I often help clients achieve better ways of phrasing & expressing their intended message -when the script writer is not well-versed as a voice talent, they can often present things in a manner more appropriate for print. The result is that it doesn't flow well when spoken. I make the conversion!
When I say I will have a project ready by a certain date/time - it is ready - no excuses (barring the once-in-a-blue-moon cold - but if you can't hear it, that doesn't even figure in). This is, of course, when the project is handed off to me & not delayed or altered by client. :)
I take a lot of pride in what I do, so it's important to me to always give my best!
