- Additional vocal abilitiesKatie's natural voice is a bright and natural RP, but she can also confidently speak with a range of other accents - Bristolian (where she's from originally), generic West Country, several different American accents (some more realistic than others!), Scottish, Irish (both Northern and Republic), Northern England (Yorkshire more than ManchestOR), and Australian. She can also posh it right up and speak like the Queen (used to!) Katie can also do more stereotyped character versions of Welsh, French, German and Russian.
- Experience, training, and equipmentKatie has her own professional home studio (purpose-built vocal booth) using an LCT 440 Pure Lewitt condenser microphone, Audient iD4 interface and MacBook Pro. She uses RX7 standard as part of her editing process. Katie can speak German to A level standard. She has dramatic training (degree in Drama and Theatre Arts) which means she is able to interpret scripts quickly and take direction well. Katie reads scripts in a natural fashion, so that the words sound spoken, rather than read. Katie is easy to work with: timely in her responses, quick to learn, polite and super friendly!
