I started my voiceover career doing a full-length corporate training video for Birk Manufacturing.
For a year and a half I was a voiceover spokesperson for OR Live, an online surgical webcasting company based out of West Hartford, CT, doing promos, radio ads and show opens and closes.
I also spent a summer volunteering at CRIS Radio, a radio station for the blind based out of South Windsor, CT, reading magazine and newspaper articles, serving as co-anchor for live one-hour daily news recaps, and doing promo spots.
As a video editor, I understand how to tell a story using video and audio materials. I have a talent for cutting and editing audio smoothly, mixing in sound effects and music, and creating a polished finished product.
In my experience as an associate producer for WFSB Channel 3, a local CT news station, I learned how to write a story succinctly, and observed the way seasoned anchors delivered the material.
I have many years previous experience in community theater in Wallingford, CT, and as such I have the ability to act, take direction, and sing.
I can also dance, but I don't suppose that helps me much here!
