- Experience, training, and equipmentI have over 30 years experience directing voice actors. After being asked to voice a few projects, I decided to dive into VO more seriously. I've been very fortunate to land some really cool VO gigs over the years and I'm really enjoying being on the 'other side of the glass'. 20+ years working in a busy post production studio as senior sound designer. Currently own/operate Quiet Coyote Studio. I've produced/directed hundred (thousands?) of VO sessions during my career. I feel I've gotten really good at understanding what clients are looking for in a VO read and I understand the subtle shifts that need to happen to dial in a performance. Past clients have described my voice as friendly, conversational, approachable and "guy next door". I love the process of working with clients to make the project the best it can be!
