Some prior jobs: Cingular, AT&T, Multiple PSA's, Nike, Goody's, CDWG, Wells Fargo, California Lottery, Mattel Toys. My jobs have been used for anything from radio spots to TV spots to animation spots.
I am represented by DPN. I have studied under Blupka Productions for Animation (Sue Blu's company). Her company is one of the leaders in animation casting. And I have also studied at "voice over connection" for both commercial and animation under the guidance of Delores Diehl.
I have studied under Blupka Productions for Animation (Sue Blu's company). Her company is one of the leaders in animation casting. And I have also studied at "voice over connection" for both commercial and animation under the guidance of Delores Diehl. Once a week I practice dialect training via my iphone/ipod by listening to Roger Karshner's dialect monologues of various dialects.
I have a Bachelors degree in both Theater and Economics from UCSD.
At home I record an audition using Audacity and then send it over the internet as an MP3 file or burn a disc copy to be sent via mail as some prefer. For better quality I go to VoiceTrax in Studio City because they use pro-tools and I don't yet own the software. Voicetrax also has very reasonable rates with their dollar a minute package.
I am eager, and I am very hard working. I don't like to stop or even slow down till the client gets what it wants out of the session.
As for other activities that lend itself to voiceover, I play sports and work out a lot, which helps with my breathing, by keeping my cardio up. I continue to take acting classes to improve my craft in both voiceover and on camera. Which also helps me to remain sharp and focused. And I use my iphone to listen to Dialect monologues by Roger Karshner once a week to continually work my voice with different dialects.
