I'm a Police Sergeant with one of the largest metropolitan cities in the United States. I've been in Law Enforcement for 29 years. As a Police Sergeant, I've been in front of the camera on several occasions giving sound bites and interviews to Los Angeles based news organizations on incidents that have occurred within my city. I am a public speaker, quite frankly, because that's what I've done all my life. Everyday I'm a spokesman for my Department. Whether it's for the Officers I supervise or the community I protect. My Officers look to me for leadership and guidance and the community looks to me for public safety.
My life experience has taught me that continued education and training is required for peak performance and I've always believed that following direction is a necessity in everything we do. I also believe that the same principle is true in Voice Over. You need to train to develop and perfect your craft. I know that listening and following direction is a crucial requirement in both professions.
