Chris Aunchman | Voice over actor

I was born in San Dimas in 1979. I grew up in the cities of Azusa, Glendora, San Dimas and LaVerne, Southern CA in the good ol San Gabriel Valley. I grew up as a kid in the 80’s and a teenager in the 90’s. I’ve been doing imitations of news anchors, actors, cartoon characters, comedians and people in my life since I was 4. I was the lead role in my childhood church musicals for 3-4 years from ages 8-12. My whole life, I’ve been told by the people I encounter, to pursue becoming either an actor, a comedian, professional voice over or professional musician as a drummer or singer. I was a skateboarder and a drummer in punk rock bands for about 15 years. In my last band, I shared frontman position with my singer who drummed for me for the songs I sang and wrote. Over the years I was lucky to have made it as far as getting the privilege to play the Roxy and the Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood where my band Pervert in 1997 almost got signed by a talent scout. Unfortunately, there was a dispute between my bassist and guitarist and that band broke up before we were given the chance. I was in a total of 10 bands. My songwriting influences are a combination of styles like Dave Grohl, Greg Graffin, Tommy Lee, Mike Ness, David Gilmour and Travis Barker. I currently reside in Ontario, CA where I live with my wife Valerie and my 4 year old son Gage. I am currently a Certified Welder in Corona, CA by day and a Courtesy Clerk for Ralph’s in Ontario, CA by night. I’m hungry to break into the voice over world to do what I do best!
