I have a strong, intelligent east-coast American voice that is youthful, warm, soothing, trustworthy, assuring, encouraging, friendly, down-to-earth, calm, bright, empathetic, comforting, happy, relaxed, caring, and musical. Despite these innate joyful characteristics, I also have the ability to sound motivating, confident, snarky, nerdy, sarcastic, arrogant, assertive, snobbish, flirty, goofy, salty, impatient, aggressive, and at times mesmerizing.
I’m a professionally trained Voice Actor who is invested in the success of every project I work on. I record in a professional sound booth with high quality results. I take direction well and love working with people who are passionate about the message they want to convey.
I have a diversified set of interests and skills and dive into my work with both feet. A long history in the corporate world has honed my time management and organizational skills. Additionally, two decades of working in the health and fitness field have given me a true “flexibility” and inner calm that comes through in my work.
My experience includes prepared presentations, corporate training, instructional audio, affirmations, and meditations for adults and children. I enjoy bringing this experience and other qualities to the projects that I work on.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI’ve voiced audio on multiple audio books for addiction recovery, dozens of instructional videos, guided sleep audio for adults and children, dozens of hypnotherapy scripts for behavior change, and guided meditations. Additionally, with a long career in the corporate world, I’ve voiced several corporate trainings videos for software instruction and corporate orientation. My Voice Acting training has included an intensive course of study with Brian S. Atwood of Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs (www.briansatwood.com). I have an excellent understanding of copy basics, building characters, and making the script uniquely mine. I’ve often been complimented on the engaging quality of my voice. Having taught fitness for over 20 years, clients have often asked for audio recordings for home use. I attribute this to the attention that I give to blending and matching my voice to the subject at hand. Through my professional training as a hypnotist, I’ve learned to establish the pace, rhythm, and emotional quality of my voice as well as quickly establishing a sense of trust and confidence with my clients. The ability to improvise and stay engaged with the script as well as my audience is important to me. I’ve also been a member of multiple choirs over the years and have learned the discipline of dynamics, tempo, rhythm, melodies, working as a team, and the attention to detail that a successful organization needs. My equipment includes: - Blue Snowball Microphone - Audacity version 3.0.2 - HP Laptop with Windows 10 Pro - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3540M CPU I also have access to a professional sound booth which includes: VocalBooth.com Platinum Series double-walled booth, Shure KSM27 microphone, SM Pro Audio TB202 Tube PreAmp, Source-Connect and phone patch in-studio. I can send all file formats (WAV, mp3, AIFF, etc.) as needed, on demand. I also have easy access to several top-level, professional recording studios in the Greater NYC area with SourceConnect and ISDN capabilities.
