WHO I AM
Hi! My name is Angela Renee Simpson, As a voiceover actor, my mission is to help you voice your project! My voice is warm, friendly, conversational, and comforting, with just a touch of sassiness - it was once described as "a slo-mo beauty shot of red velvet cake being cut!". I’m of the Baby Boomer Generation (I know, I don’t look it), but I typically book in the mid-thirties on up. I can bring that seasoned, motherly quality as well as the no-nonsense, authoritative read to your copy. If Morgan Freeman and Viola Davis had a VO love child, that would be ME!
WHAT I DO
I am skilled in commercials, animation, audiobooks, explainer videos, in-show narration, promos, IVR and apps. I continuously train to hone these skills so that I can bring my best to your copy! My favorites are commercials and corporate videos that have an anthem quality to them! I find that the gravitas in my voice gives this type of copy the emotional depth that’s needed to convey the copy’s message.
HOW I DO IT
I work from my professional, broadcast-quality home studio and can accommodate live directed sessions via, Zoom, Google Hangouts/Meets, and Skype. I can typically offer a 24-hour turnaround and I aim to be flexible on rates and budgets so we can find what works for both of us.

I also have my own arts podcast show sponsored by an online arts magazine. Adding to that, I am on the Board of Directors for a non-profit arts organization. So, I guess you can say that VOICE is my life! LITERALLY!
