About Christopher
Member sinceJul 12, 2018
LocationOakland, CA, USA (GMT -7)
After spending my youth between Maine and Virginia, I moved west to San Francisco. I quickly embraced this colorful, bustling region as my new home.
Upon earning my Bachelors degree at the Art Institute of California—San Francisco in 2006, I set out to build a career in media and the associated arts. Over the subsequent years, I've been lucky to have lived and worked all over the Bay Area! All along the way, I've learned so much from so many incredibly talented and intelligent people: it's helped me to grow into the sharp, conscientious artist I am today.
While pursuing work in animation and media, I've been able to foster my passion for voice work. Lending my voice to anything in need of it: from helping out on student films in school, to playing all of the characters in a Leap Frog Game. I've maintained over the years that voice acting is the most fun I've ever been paid to have!
In my spare time, I pursue my deepest passions: painting, music, and writing. In the pursuit of these arts, I hope that I can someday inspire others more genuinely, more earnestly, than with entertainment alone.

Additional vocal abilities
I've had a sharp ear for impersonation since childhood. In a way, I 'collect' voices that I like from popular media and either sculpt them into new ones, or distill from them cultural archetypes. I can perform accents, and channel characters of many different ages and backgrounds. Furthermore, having worked in animation and games for so long, I am readily familiar with common character archetypes and tropes. I can help you find the right ones, or avoid the wrong ones.
Suffice to say:
"Do you need something special for your advert or short? I can help"! Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your projects' needs; you'll be glad you did!
Experience, training, and equipment
I've worked in animation and game production for over ten years and in that time I've had many opportunities to provide the games I've worked on with fresh and distinct voices, be they the entire cast of characters from a Leap Frog title or performing in the ads marketing the very games I've worked on at Pocket Gems. I'd be happy to provide you with more details about my prior experience if you like, simply drop me a line!
I have studied voice work at various programs such as the Berkeley Rep with Sally Clawson, and Voice One, in San Francisco, with Elaine Clark.
Outside of Voice work, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts & Animation from the Art Institute of California—San Francisco.
I have a humble home studio setup with a
•Shure SM7B Microphone
•M-Audio M-Track 2x2 Interface
•Pop Guard and other accessories
•Audacity Software
