About Tom
Member sinceMay 8, 2006
My voice is very multi-dimensional. I can be upbeat and energetic, appealing to the masses. Animated, funny and comical for cartoon work, appealing to kids and adults. Semi deep and smooth for more professional engagements. Fast and enthusiastic for sports related spots.

Experience, training, and equipment
I am currently a Vocal Coach at the Academy of the Arts in Denver Colorado, and work with Singers and Radio DJ's From all over the nation. I was a DJ for a country radio station in Lewiston Idaho (KMOK-FM) for nine years and have done everything from live remotes to production, in studio and out on the streets! I also helped the sales department in writing spots and coming up with creative advertising ideas. I have been the emcee for numerous events, everything from professional (Relay For Life Cancer and MS Walks, American Red Cross and more), to comical (mock male beauty pageants, donkey basketball and more). NUMEROUS concert introductions (Montgomery Gentry, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Blackhawk, Joe Diffie, Joe Nichols, Eric Church, Confederate Railroad and more).
I have also voiced Regional Commercials for Pepsi (summer 2001) and have voiced and acted for many local television and radio spots.
I have a degree in communications from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston Idaho.
I have been studying voice for many years and most recently and rewardingly with Dr. Scott Martin at the Academy of the Arts in Denver Colorado, where I now teach. I have a European Singing Method certification from the Academy.
I have been singing for many years, and have sang at many local events, on television, and even at a Portland Trailblazers basketball game. I was also the music leader at Living Heritage Church in Clarkston Washington for four years before moving to Denver.
The equipment that I have access to is as follows:
Adobe Audition 1.5
Mackie SR 24-4
Mic: EV RE20
Before I became a vocal coach and started working at the radio station I worked on a farm and at a grocery store. I have the ability to relate to people of all ages and genders and I look forward to new opportunities and challenges in the vocal industry!!!
