23 years of doing voiceovers says it all! I've been a radio personality since the mid-80's, and have been doing voiceover acting right along with it. One of my very first industrials was for NASA! I've done voice work for the U.S. Navy, Mercedes Benz, Olay, Wentworth Art Galleries, Comcast, Entercom Radio, CBS Radio, Verizon Wireless, Nextel, McDonald's, and the list goes on. I've had some clients for as long as 18 years! I have my own studio with state-of-the-art equipment, take direction well, and can provide quick turnaround time for your project with precision and professionalism.
I possess a college degree as a Registered Nurse, allowing me to excel in medical narrations and documentaries. I also graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1986 in West Palm Beach, and actually ended up returning there years later to teach broadcasting students and become the Educational Director for six years. And, working in radio, I have been trained in many digital recording and editing programs, such as Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, RCS, and Audio Vault.
The editing software I use is Adobe Audition 3.0. I use an ElectroVoice RE-20 microphone through a Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro mixing board, and a Delta sound card connected to a Dell Dimension computer.
Voiceover education and training is one of my primary passions. I was the Director of Education and head instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting during the 90's. I also am a co-partner of an audio production house, Top Hat Productions. One of our functions is to conduct periodic one-day voiceover training workshops around the state of Florida. I'm also the author of a voiceover training book entitled "Put Your Mouth Where The Money Is", which was published in 1998, and is now sold out.
Again, I hold a license as a Registered Nurse, which has brought me many medical narrations for colleges, medical facilities, and corporations.
