About Shelly
My voice changed when I was a teenager and since then, friends, family and strangers have encouraged me to explore doing VO work.
2014 is the year when I quit being shy about it. I have a good voice. It's often described by others as warm, relaxing and calming. Other adjectives include, mellifluous, sonorous, authoritative, dulcet and even arresting.
It's not uncommon for people to stop what they're doing when I speak just to listen to me. It's created a few... interesting moments over the years.
With some training and direction, I have no doubts that I can do voice acting- but my strong suit right now is narration and possibly doing trailers/ commercial work.
Throw something at me. Give me an idea of how you want me to deliver your copy. My set up at home is minimal (Blue Snowball) but should give you an idea of what I'm capable of.
