Hi! I'm Shannon Oliver and I started doing voice overs back in 1996 when I was in High School! I volunteered for a local TV station (Plano Television Network) and got great exposure to on-camera and voice over work. After college, I returned to my performing roots and got back into TV and other on-camera work. I went back to work for PTN 30 for a few years, then moved to Houston to be the Host/Associate producer of a local TV show called Hot On! Homes.
I've done voice overs on cds for distribution as well as voice overs for television and website usage for builders in Houston including:
DR Horton
Meritage Homes
David Weekley
Imperial Homes
Ryland Homes
Trophy Homes
Frontier Custom Builders
Triumph Homes
Schumacher Homes
Wall Homes
Choice Homes
KB Home
Texas BIG Homes
I've also done voice overs for television and website usage for land developers:
Canyon Gate Communities
The Lakes of Williams Ranch.
My commercial work includes voice overs for:
Time Warner Cable
Space Center Houston
Hot On! Homes
My industrial work includes voice overs for:
BMC Software
Waste Management
Aegis Lending
B.T.C.C.
RadioShack
In addition to commercials and industrials, I've also done website walk-throughs for Walker Engineering.
I have a voice over studio in my office, so I'm able to record clean tracks and email or mail them immediately.

I have a voice over studio in my home office, so I'm able to record clean tracks and email them or burn a cd and mail them immediately.
I use Audacity 1.3 to record voice tracks. I have Direct Pro 24/96 for my sound control panel.
These days, I'm working from home, so I'm able to get projects recorded and emailed back quickly. My acting background gives me the ability to add character to voice overs and give some personality to the read, if needed. I'm also skilled at live presentations, so talking to people is what I do. Hopefully I'm a good fit for what you are looking for! I look forward to working with you! :)
