My VO experience started when I was a voice teacher. One of my students ran a studio and since he knew I was a singer, he asked me to come sing the voice of "Thumbalina" in a new cartoon for the San Diego Zoo. As luck would have it, I also got to voice the character, turning into my first VO gig. From there, the same studio hired me to voice several characters in various anime cartoons including "Ten Tokyo Warriors" and "Gunparade March". I then continued in voiceover, doing commercials for products such as BMW and Chevrolet. I still do all of the above and also narrate for text books and audiobooks.
I am a graduate in Theater from UC Irvine with an emphasis on musical theater, and also spent a year abroad in England at the University of Birmingham. I've taken several seminars in voiceover including Kalmenson and Kalmenson, Terry Berland, and Carrol Day Kimball.
