Im really just starting out, my boss at my last job thought I had a very distinctive voice and thought I would be great for voice acting. He hooked me up with a friend that was looking for voice talent for a corporate dvd and had my audition, He liked what I did and I went for a few auditions.
I studied sound design using Adobe premiere, FinalCutPro, and am currently using Adobe Soundbooth. I learned how to set up hardware, utilize software, how to use a mic, do my own foley work, and how to control my voice to control my voice for a variety of tasks. I majored in computer animation, and generally supplied the voice work for my projects as well as many of my friends.
