About Randy
Member sinceOct 4, 2013
With over 20 years of professional theatre, radio, and voiceover experience, Randy can provide the exact feeling your project is looking for. From professional and authoritative for industrial training videos to friendly and compelling in radio & TV commercials, Randy can quickly provide you with the audio you need.
Randy is able to quickly switch from the Dad you need in your narration video to the snarky station voice you need for your CHR station.
Randy's tried using super-sexy, velvety voices with his wife, but she just ends up laughing, so he questions how effective that voice really is.
He is not the big-voiced, monster truck guy. In short, Randy sounds like a real guy you know, he just reads out-loud better than average.

Additional vocal abilities
Randy does some basic accents (British, Spanish, etc.) and lots of silly voices. With all of his years of experience doing improv on the stage and on the radio, it still surprises him what voices come out of his mouth.
He also has two small daughters, so he gets lots of experience reading the same bedtime stories over and over again. Randy changes the voices a lot, mainly to keep from going nuts.
Experience, training, and equipment
Randy has developed his voiceover talents with years of experience on the stage, radio, TV, and video. He's been the spokesperson for several national clients such as New Balance and Sleep Country USA as well as the official voice of Commercial Tire and various trade shows.
He is weirdly comfortable in just about any setting. Randy has stood on golf courses pitching condos in sales videos and he's shared a cheese plate with Willie Nelson while talking about FarmAid.
For several years now Randy has hosted radio morning shows in small, medium, and major markets and worked with TV networks to provide entertainment segments. Randy seems to know a little bit about just about everything, but not enough to be an expert in anything...
A graduate of George Fox University with a degree in Social and Behavioral Studies, in addition to doing voiceover work for you, Randy is willing to listen to your personal problems and offer marginally helpful advice.
As a former Creative Director for a major market radio group, he also has lots of experience copywriting. So if you need a spot written, voiced, and produced, Randy is a one-stop shop.

Randy loves to talk to people and learn their story. He has several years of experience interviewing people both on the radio and on-camera.
