About Peter
Member sinceNov 25, 2005
My voice is a smooth male baritone, mellow and relaxing for voiceover greetings and voicemail recordings, succinct and clear for public service announcements, happy, upbeat and bright for instructional and self-help recordings, voiceovers and on-hold recordings. I'm native to the state of Connecticut, USA, with it's "generic" accent but I can also speak English with different accents and regionalisms from "down south" to "down-east Maine". I'm also well practiced with an Irish or Scottish brogue.

Experience, training, and equipment
I have produced a voiceover presentation for the Nationwide Insurance Co., New England Regional Corporate Meetings held in New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island in September, 2005 using the digital audio software described below.
I am a graduate of The Connecticut School of Broadcasting where I earned a Diploma in the field of Broadcast Communications in November, 2004 and where I received advanced instruction and practice in the art of voiceovers, voice acting, and speaking using articulation, pronunciation, inflection and voice projection. I also attended voice acting classes and voiceover seminars taught by the well known television and radio voice actor Tom Peterson.
I am proficient in the use of digital audio technology for the creation and editing of voice commercials, recordings and production spots using Saw, Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and Adobe Audition 1.0 imaging software. I have used my imaging skills in the production of corporate in-house audio presentations. My voice work is talented, witty and imaginative as you can hear from my demos.
