- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been working in radio for the last 7 years. My voice is used daily on commercials and on-air. I know my way in and out of any audio software. I have recorded local radio ads all over the board, from Tractor Supply ads, to Laser Tag, Bowling, Car Commercials, etc. I can pretty much wear whatever hat you need me to. I have a Bachelors of Science in Communications with a major in Broadcasting from Grand Valley State University. I have also taken a course from Joe Loesche in Nashville, TN. Every day during my radio career, my voice has been used in production. Every time I my voice for a client, it gets critiqued and perfected. I do have easy access to a radio production studio every weekday. Equipment includes: Electro-Voice RE20 Electro-Voice RE27 Shure SM7B Airwave Digital Board Adobe Audition 1.5, 3.0, and 5.0 Being in radio, I deal with advertising on a daily basis. I know what good advertising is, and I know how to avoid bad advertising. You need great copy, and great sound to make the perfect blend.
