Experience, training, and equipment
I have done a number of projects in recent years:
Narration for a documentary film for OMF directed by Ken Haron, a VO for conference Advert for CCC directed by Jarod Kelly, Voice/narration for Riding Lights Theatre Co. directed by Paul Burbridge, VO for Amex short film, VO for Film project for Peter Hewitt, hollywood film producer.
Current: Playing a part in a ‘one show only’ production of The Passion of Christ on Easter day in Brighton.
I have employed a private 'voice coach' over the last four years and continue to receive coaching regularly as I believe it is important to keep my voice well tuned and there is always more to learn. I recently took part in a 'character voices' course with 16 other people taught by Yvonne Morley, my voice coach, a highly experienced voice coach.
There are a number of studios in Brighton to chose from for hire.
In a different life I worked for a number of years in 'Lloyds of London' as a marine insurance broker and so have an understanding of the business world in the City of London. I also helped build a retail business over a period of 7 years.
Over the last 15 years I have had some experience of public speaking, both to small groups of 5 – 10 people and larger groups of up to 1400 people at any one time.
Interests: kit surfing, skiing, body surfing, water-skiing, sailing, boating, cycling, singing, guitar, rugby, shooting, eating out, coffee, interest in renal medicine….
