I use The Apogee Condenser Mic, which has a built-in pre-amp and analogue to digital converter, plus adjustable gain control, via the lightening connector into the (fan-free and therefore silent) iPad3 and record raw .wavs either Twisted Wave or DAW Multitrack. I have always done my final editing and mixing down on Cool Edit Pro 2 (which became Adobe Audition) On my Dell Dimension 9100 PC with back-up hard-drive I am skilled at mixing down seperate files into a final mix bed with music and effects and noise reduction, compression and EQ adjustment. I can edit finely without causing digital glitches such as clicks, doubling breaths or them off half-way through I can use email or my Dropbox account for delivery of high quality .wav or mp3 files to a client.
