I recorded VO for a Logitech commercial on Spec, and have recorded podcast introductions for Buddhist teachers. Most recently I recorded VO for a children's book which involved several different characters, a child and her dad. I am able to record using the industry standard Pro Tools, and can edit to your specifications and can provide multiple versions for you to pick from depending on the desired style. I am easy to work with and punctual. I am also a singer and a song writer, so could put music behind anything for commercial purposes, film, radio or video.
I have a BA in Latin American studies and a music minor from UC Santa Cruz, a Master of Music from UT Austin with an emphasis in Latin American Ethnomusicology. I have a certificate in song writing from UCLA extension, and teaching certificates for Music Together and Suzuki violin methods. I worked for 6 years in radio which included journalism work as well as DJ work and sound production work. I have been in the performing arts since age six when I started taking Suzuki violin, and I continued through the years studying guitar in college, gamelan in grad school and now I sing Eastern European Folk music in a women's choir and I write songs and play violin for several different musical projects. I have taken more than a dozen vocal workshops which include techniques such as Alexander Technique as well as improvisational singing and Eastern European technique, and I teach music to young children and I coach adults.

I worked for several years in translation providing copy in Spanish and English for the Masterdisk websites. I'm very clear with communication and am prompt in responding to your inquiries. I have a great phone manner because I also worked in customer service for many years in New York for Masterdisk. I recently moved back to LA from New York where I lived for the last five years. I continue to take work on both coasts and travel also between the two states for performance purposes when necessary.
