I have been doing voice work since my teenage years in my high school marketing club. After graduating from UTC in 2001, I spent the next four years as the production director for a small, independent radio station in Chattanooga, Tennessee where I wrote, voiced, and edited thousands of commercials, PSAs, promos, and more. After my time in radio, I spent the next ten years working both as a freelance voice over artist for a few select clients as well as providing vocal work in a variety of marketing and advertising agency settings.
I have a BA in Media and Mass Communication from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where I was the voiceover artist, writer, and producer for our student TV news program. I also received three semesters of voice training while performing with our student choral group, glee club, and opera troupe.
I have my own home studio with a dual monitor computer running Windows 10 and Adobe Audition. My Audio-Technica mic is on a hands-free boom for noiseless recording. My 10x10 studio is soundproofed with high-density premium acoustic foam.
I have over four years experience in radio with an additional six years experience in marketing and advertising agency and department settings. Over the course of my career, I have written, voiced, edited, and produced thousands of commercials for radio broadcast.
