About Marie
Deep, warm and friendly voice with a great sense of humor. For commercials, narrations, infomercials and audiobooks, my voice embodies confidence, friendliness and a trustworthy, informed viewpoint. I specialize in midwest, real, "mom" voices.
For animation projects, my range varies from perky and playful to deliciously evil and cantankerous.
I have recorded audiobooks for The Braille Institute and have two books in the National Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI was a regular voiceover and on-camera performer on the NBC television show, "Late Night With David Letterman" for six years in New York. Following this, I wrote and performed a two-woman show off-Broadway, starred in "Nooner" at Jeff Daniels' "The Purple Rose" Theatre and co-wrote and starred in "Life Is A Beach", a beach monster musical. I have been a featured performer on the TV shows, "Seventh Heaven" and "Charmed", and have appeared in numerous commercials and improv companies in New York and Los Angeles. I currently record voiceovers in my home studio in San Francisco, CA. I have a B.F.A. Degree in Theatre. In Los Angeles, I had commercial and voiceover representation with Commercials Unlimited, Coast to Coast Talent Group and Solid Talent. I am currently repped by MDT Agency, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. CAD U37-USB Studio Recording microphone; Logitech USB microphone Skills include comedy, improv, storytelling and narration. For the past 3 years, I have worked as a segway tour guide/instructor at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. This job involved constant use of my voice in: training, giving out information, recounting historical facts and stories, and providing a running commentary throughout a 2 1/2 hour tour throughout the city.
