Lesley is a highly sought after documentary narrator. She has lent her voice to numerous films for Make Believe Media, Red Letter Films and Reel Myth, most recently narrator "Neurons to Nirvana". In addition to docs, Lesley was the voice of the Integral Institute, hosted a radio show on CBC Radio and has done a variety of commercials.
As well as narration, Lesley read screen direction for Praxis Film Centre for Screenwriters for over 10 years. Her ability to lift text off the page was always noted as exceptional. Over a 2 hour reading she was continuously able to bring the screenwriter's images to life in full colour.
Lesley is known for her clear, calm, full bodied voice. Soothing, friendly and engaging, vibrant and intelligent.
Her dream is to be the first woman to do movie trailers!
Lesley hosted the CBC Radio show The Beat, during which she interviewed hundreds of rock stars around the world.
Lesley has been doing voice work for over 30 years, narrating docs including "Bali By Heart", 100% Woman, C.D. Hoy, Corporations in the Classroom, When Love is Blind, From Neurons to Nirvana.
She's also had experience voicing audio guides for museums and art galleries. Well read and well traveled, she brings a depth of knowledge to her audio guides.
