My most recent voice over work has been for websites, car dealerships, tanning salons, athletic clubs, hair salons, Plato's Closet, Hardware Hank, Job Corps and QCTV. I also do on-camera work for QCTV. I'm currently hosting a medical show entitled "Health Matters," and I review children's movies for "Movie Wise" on QCTV. In addition, I've done some field reporting and served as the guest host of a variety of community and government shows. I also recorded voice overs for the Anoka County Fair 2005.
I've done hundereds of commercials for all types of businesses -- Blakcwoods Grill and Bar, Brule Sports, Curves for Women, Erbert & Gerbert's Subs & Clubs, Great Lakes Aquarium, Holiday Center, Kia, Two Harbors Ford, Miller Hill Mall, North Shore Scenic Railroad, Sprint, Super One Foods, The Friendly Grounds Coffee Shop, WITC (Wisconsin, Indianhead Technical College), Absolute Computers, Barney's Florist and Greenhouses, Genesis Eldercare, Harris Family Furniture, Hot SPot Tanning Center, Tranquility Springs Day Spa and that's just naming a few.
In addition to commercials, I've done numerous PSAs and promotions for charities such as the March of Dimes as well as narrations and corporate recordings including a Microsoft tutorial.
Most of my voice overs are recorded in my home studio using Pro Tools. I'm also available to go on location for voice or on-camera jobs and auditions.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in the field of Sociology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. While Sociology isn't directly related to voice over work, I learned a great deal about human nature and gained a lot of invaluable communication and people skills. I developed effective ways to connect with many different types and classes of people. That knowlege has been quite beneficial as I envision the target audience for a voice or on-camera project.
I went on to study radio broadcasting and media communications at Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN. After graduating from Brown in April of 2000, I spent four years as a morning radio personality. WAIT! Before you write me off as just another radio geek, I've received vocal training, studied acting, taken singing lessons, and performed in a variety of school and community plays and musical productions. I'm not just another pretty voice without a shred of acting ability. I take voice and on-camera acting very seriously. I'm commited to excellence and client satisfaction in all of my voice over work.
