Professionally trained voice actress with over 25 years experience working with voice- voicing for Audiobooks (google: 'Kate Petrie narrator' on amazon!) cartoons, puppets, radio & TV commercials; video training; Phone messaging; film dubbing; inflight videos; Storybook & Documentary narration; Radio presenter; radio journalist. Working Internationally, mainly in UK and Spain. Professionally trained actress; -the london academy of performing arts & British American drama academy. Spent 18 years living in UK and 12 years in Spain. Workshop leader and drama teacher.(UK) Also Script writer and editor/translator/voice for commercials; film dubbing; etc; news reports for a news channel. I have recording facilities in my home studio here with Logic Pro Have travelled widely all over world! Speak english,spanish & french. Grew up on a farm..(hence the excellent animal noises!) I do many of the translations for the scripts i receive & so I have to get to know the clients company very well and often have to write the script/set the tone myself. -am very hands on with the project if needs be ie: not just 'come -voice-leave!' I have worked in my time as a shop assistant, waitress, recepionist, drama teacher, voice coach, speech writer, radio reporter, radio presenter, workshop leader with kids and adults alike as well as your basic theatre actress! I believe all these experiences have helped me to understand 'selling' a product, be it for a commercial or a story book, animation, national geographic narration or an adult-themed script! And to produce, as requested from the client, and deliver a good and understanding read in the tone and style required.
