I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. I was trained to report the news in an informative way with proper diction, intonation and pace. I anchored and reported for our weekly news show Rebcast which aired on the education channel.
I was co-host of a weekly radio show for over a year. The style was more casual and laid-back with lots of information given and guests interviewed.
I was trained in theater, film and television acting. We performed many exercises to practice projection, clarity and tone in our voices.

My journalism degree required intensive writing practices, which I took with me into the fields of radio, television and film. I have been a segment producer as well as a script supervisor, professionally.
I would be fine with writing my own scripts. I can specialize in the standard broadcast news form, where the listener is given information in a concise and factual manner. But I am also well versed in the more casual writing styles.
