About Paul
Classically trained, after 30 years as a professional actor and over 15 in the studio, I have recorded over 100 spots for radio, television, internet, e-learning, narration, gaming and animation. If you want a solid, confident engaging voice, I’m your man. Paul’s cool assuring voice has led numerous radio and television commercial campaigns in Canada for national brands such as VIA Rail, A.L. Van Houtte Coffee and Belair Direct Auto Insurance. Furthermore, he has participated in over 50 spots for local and international brands alike, everything from McDonald's to spots for the local YMCA. His vocal rigour and energy have been featured video games such as on Assassin’s Creed and Thief. 20 years ago, Paul started his career bringing his vocal range, easy delivery and articulative abilities to various e-learning projects and presentations. Other projects include everything narrating documentary films for the internet and educational videos that tackle the particulars animating Shakespeare for high school students. Outside of the studio, Paul is a successful screen (RED 2, Suits, Disney’s Zombies: The Musical 1&2) and stage actor, who spent 2 seasons at the Stratford Festival and 8 years as the Artistic and Executive Director of Montreal’s Shakespeare-in-the-Park. Paul’s often hired to either be the reassuring voice that makes everyone know that everything’s going to be ok, or he’s taking the piss out of the over-the-top, sales-pitch guy that likes to put on his superhero voice. And when not straddling the two extremes, he’s counted on to play the everyday guy who finds himself in a bind and needs a solution.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI'm a professional actor with over thirty years of experience on stage and screen and 15 years in the studio. I've been the lead voice for several commercial campaigns but I've also worked on everything from gaming to documentaries to dubbing to explainer videos. I have a home studio booth set up and work with a Sennheiser MKE600 Microphone and s UR12 Steinberg Audio Interface. I use TwistedWave software to record and edit my reads.
