My first experience behind a microphone? When I was 10 years old. My Mom got me a Mr. Microphone for my birthday, which I immediately modified to include a 100 foot antenna in my attic, and began broadcasting my "pirate" radio station to the neighborhood. I spent 25 years in the radio business as an on-air talent and in programming, in markets like Denver, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Seattle, San Diego, and Albany, NY. Now, I'm proud to solely own and operate Josh Goodman Voice-Overs, which has been growing for over 10 years.
My client list includes a long list of television networks like HBO, CBS, PBS, and ABC, as well as National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, HGTV, and more. I’ve been honored to voice hundreds of corporate projects for the likes of Pepsi, Chipotle, ADT, Chevrolet, Delta Air Lines, the US Army, BNSF, KPMG, Red Bull, DirecTV, Dish Network, Lockheed Martin, Allianz Financial, Phillips Electronics, and more. My experience also includes voicing radio and TV stations across the US, as well as narrating numerous Audiobooks.
Continuous coaching and training with professional voice-over coaches in NY and LA.
My studio is dead quiet and state of the art, and I record sessions using Pro Tools 10 on an Apple IMac. I have a professional voice-over booth, and use a Sennheiser MKH-416 mic, with an Avalon 737 preamp. I also have a high quality phone patch, and ISDN capability with a Telos Zephyr XStream.
