About Jonathan
Member sinceSep 19, 2006
I am adept at doing diverse character voices. My repertoire ranges from sincere, lovesick young adult to a sinister, depraved sadist (though not often in the same recording, thank heavens). I'm skilled with comedy, horror, drama, and professional styles.

Experience, training, and equipment
I have been in the performing arts since I was a teenager. For the last seven years I've worked with the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving (and updating) audio theatre for today's audience. I've played literally over one hundred characters with ARTC, ranging from a clueless English constable to a scheming southern villain.
Voice over training through the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company. Tutors include (but are not limited to) William Brown, Thomas E. Fuller, William Ritch.
Other training: Improvisational comedy through Dad's Garage Theatre (Matt Horgan, teacher). Also improv experience with Mr. Friskett (Atlanta improv company). Theatrical training from the University of Georgia. Continuing experience with multiple theatrical companies including the Georgia Renaissance Festival, Collective Works, Sensurround Stagings, and the Mighty Rassilon Art Players.
Outside of my life in performance I also write for the stage and for ARTC. I have an ongoing series with ARTC entitled, "Mildly Exciting Tales of Astonishment".
I am eager to expand my career into more voiceover work. I wish to translate my love and talent for performance into a career.
