In general, I am known as the voice artist with the soothing voice. I can sound like a Faerie Being from an epic story, the receptionist at a high end corporation, a seductress, or a voicemail menu (this is how I often get telemarketers off of my phone!). My range is from age 3 to 90. Although I do not speak it fluently, I do speak a little French conversationally. I do English (not Scottish or Irish) and Southern (most regions) accents, and am working on Scottish, Irish, and some Indian accents. I sing Jazz, Blues, Musical Theatre, Pop, and Gospel, and Country styles.

Experience, training, and equipment
I started using my voice publicly in high school, as a member of the Future Homemakers of America. I gave wrote and gave speeches in competitions. I have acted as an Emcee in numerous non-union productions (including for Spirit Cruise Lines), was a Studio Guide for Universal Studios Hollywood, and have worked as a party-line moderator for a telecommunications company. I've done in-house voice over and film for Robinson's May, LRN, and Universal Studios Hollywood. I can memorize extremely quickly if necessary, but also have experience with cold reading, as well as teleprompters.
I was trained to give speeches as early as high school, but was always told I was a natural when it came to voice talent. I attended the American University of Paris, Emerson College, and the Actor's Training Program through Solano college. I studied Shakespeare, Voice and Articulation, Elocution, and Speech. I majored in Performing Arts (Dance and Musical Theatre), and of course teach it all myself now. My minor was English, Writing & Criticism. I was told for so long that I should be doing voice over work, that I started doing little things here and there. I attend workshops (i.e. Bob Bergen) whenever I have time.
Microphone, Computer, editing software.
I am certified by FEMA as a disaster volunteer, and worked as a dispatcher for AAA. In those positions (especially at AAA) you are trained to use your voice to influence a person's mood. I use the same skills as a teacher and as a sales person.
