Versatility is my secret sauce. I am a full time Professional Voice Over Actor. In other words, this is not my side hustle, so you will have my full attention to your project. A few words that best describe my voice are wise, authentic, commanding, warm, young, confident, friendly, and sincere. But don't just read about it, listen to my demos and decide for yourself! I get this question a lot: how did you get started? While in my second year of college at New Mexico State University, I was sitting in Milton Hall contemplating my future when a classmate stopped to chat. She encouraged me to pursue broadcasting. Immediately, I made an appointment with my Advisor who was also the Broadcasting Department Head. And I was hooked! Those early days of voicing the local PBS television promos set the stage for what was to come. Upon graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, I moved back home to Albuquerque to host the overnight show at an Alternative Rock radio station. I pursued radio as a career for many years in a variety of different formats including Adult Contemporary, Christian, News Talk, and Classic Rock. In 2006, I moved to California to work at a National Radio Network where I wrote, produced, and voiced hourly newscasts. Later my path brought me to Arizona where I earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership degree at Grand Canyon University. Go Lopes! Using to the fullest what I gleaned from the GCU Masters' program, I bet on myself and started my own business. It's been an amazing journey serving clients in Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, Canada and the United States, to name a few. Currently, I work as a full-time Voice Over Actor from my Source Connect equipped professional sound studio at Jenna James Voice LLC. I am represented by Wehmann Talent Agency and HOSS Management.
