My voice is versatile enough to adapt to most any kind of script/read.
My delivery is distinctive and I don't sound like the "average" voice-over - or so I'm told!
Producers have said that I provide the exact tone, pace and feel for a project first time, and that my neutral "accent" is particularly useful if the script requires British, but not too British, or indeed anything which rides the waves between Brit, American and Australian.
In other words, I don't deliver just using the "one style".
If a hard, fast, factual read is required for a narration, A/V, on-hold/IVR online system, documentary, explainer, e-learning or corporate presentation, I can do that.
If a narrative needs to be cool and calm, or rich and deep, storytelling or any other way, ditto.
Slow and sexy? Sure.
Plaintive/Emotive? Of course.
Natural and not "voice-overy". Absolutely.
Technical read? Not a problem.
Deep, rich, promo, branding, imaging or movie-trailer-esque? Definitely.
In over 30 years as a professional voice-over, I've probably voiced most types of reads, delivered some beautifully written pieces (and some, er, not so well crafted tomes too!), and am always willing to contribute any voice/script knowledge I've gained in that time to further enhance what's been put before me.
Equally happy to read exactly "as written" and take direction until the customer's satisfied.
I welcome online "listen-in-live" sessions via just about any VOIP going, so as to get the copy 100% correct, first time.
I'm based on the south coast of the UK, working out of a bespoke fully-pro studio, acoustically treated and sound-proofed, with all the bells and whistles!
And this is all I do, all the time...

Additional vocal abilities
If I'm given a script which requires something quite different from my "normal/usual" delivery, I often create character voices as directed - or suggest a voice or voices, depending on the script content.
Monty Python-esque voices are a speciality!
I voice an authentic UK West-Country, comic-French and German accents, various American deliveries (movie-trailer, cowboy etc.), old men etc.
Experience, training, and equipment
BBC Radio 4 UK - Disney (formerly FOX) Movies Middle East - Classic FM UK - LBC 97.3FM London - African Television Network 'NTV' - Emirates Airline - Coca-Cola - MacDonalds - Sony - Samsung - Microsoft - Toni & Guy - Virgin Radio Australasia - Jaguar - BMW - Audi - Mercedes - Porsche - Toyota - Singapore Television - BHP Billiton - RAC - BT - Telstra - Water Corporation - Marriott Hotels - Mitsubishi - British Gas - Lloyds Bank - Cadbury - BOSE - Specsavers...
I've voiced for these organisations and, literally, hundreds of others - big and small - over the 30+ years I've been voice-overing for a living - and I still voice for many of the abovementioned organisations today.
From "Fred's Fish & Chip Shop" type radio ads, to in-depth highly technical A/V narrations (some with many unusual or foreign words, names and places), explainers, corporates, documentaries and e-learning, and from straightforward on-hold/IVR messaging to in-depth on-going worldwide developmental projects for the likes of IBM - there's not much I haven't voiced.
No academic qualifications whatsoever - dropped out of high school age 16!
Neither have I ever had any vocal training.
I have, however, sung in every kind of pop/rock/punk/covers/indie-type band I can think of since the late 70's, and up until I left Australia in late 2013, I sang lead vocals with two 20 piece Jazz/Swing Big Bands.
I've been a radio DJ, Presenter, Broadcaster, Newsreader, Journalist and Station Manager as well as Music Director for the Perth branch of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
During my radio days - 1979 to 1996 - I've probably performed just about every job from making coffee to Production, Programming and Management!
I run an iMac Pro, with Twisted Wave and assorted software, hooked into an Apogee Duet interface and my current mic of choice is the Aston Spirit.
I have ipDTL/ISDN, Source-Connect and SKYPE recording and listening-in facilities (along with several other VOIP's, depending on what the studio, agency or client requires), and can voice from anywhere, anytime for anyone.
All of my voice-over work I record, edit and send myself.
I always record flat EQ with zero processing, limiting or compression.
Standard recording format is WAV, with most other formats available and, for larger files, I use WeTransfer, DropBox or any other FTP specified.
I offer proofing, grammatical and punctuation correction facilities, if required, at a small additional fee to be negotiated, depending on the job.
From time to time, I write copy/scripts/narratives and offer advice on existing scripts.
In fact, I've written everything from scripts (for a living), to poetry and lyrics, and have sung in any number of cover, pop, rock, punk and indie bands since I joined my first band far too long ago to remember!
