I have had years of experience speaking in front of all types of audiences. From High School "Quiz Bowl" contestant (first prize winner Bowsher High School, Toledo,O) to teaching students, marketing competitions, door to door sales, I have been speaking publicly for years. My father is a sound engineer and so I had a reel to reel tape deck from the age of 3. I competed in Miss Ohio (Miss America) preliminaries. I was marketing rep for Playboy eneterprises for two years in college doing trade shows in Florida.
I was a petite model during and after college.
I had excellent training at Xerox Corporations' Leesburg, Va. national facility. I was the #1 sales rep in 1985. I conducted demos at trade shows at Jacob Javits Center. These activities have really honed my pursuasive, friendly, believable voice acting skills.
I sang and danced in community theater (St Catherine's Players, Greenwich, CT)
And finally, I am a Mom of three; I have a lot of experience in giving orders!
Broadcast/ TV/ radio journalism classes in college. (The University of Toledo, Bowling Green U. Ohio)
Various improv, acting, script analysis, V/O and on camera acting courses at The School for Film and Television in NYC.
Private voice lessons with Dr. Ray Smolover in NYC.
Training at Edge Studios, NYC.
I'm very interested in studying the old radio shows. We had a wonderful Popular Culture archive at BGSU and I enjoyed listening to "The Shadow" and Jack Benny.
I'm a quick study and have done a lot of auditioning.
