Training: Edge Studio, NYC
After attending a seminar at Edge Studio in April 06', I chose to record my commercial demo there.
I trained privately with veteran voice talent and coach, the great Paul Liberti.
I completed my extensive training in July 06', and recorded my commercial demo.
I continue to hone my skill by taking classes at Edge when my schedule permits.
I have my own home studio, with the ability to record and send finished audio files in mp3 format or wav files. I have a local studio that is technically advanced, and have been able to record numerous national spots via Phone Patch through that studio. I also have ISDN capabilities through another studio that I use.
Equipment:
-Recording on PC with Audacity program
-Recording with Sterling and CAD microphones
-ability to email finished audio files in mp3 or wav format
-ability to record using Phone Patch
-ability to record using ISDN capabilities
-ability to send audio files to FTP site
-can meet any and all technical requirements
Having owned my own retail business for many years, my skills in conveying a genuine and trusting voice for commercial work is immense. I understand the need to convey a sincere and genuine voice when selling a product.
That understanding and experience is what sets me apart from other voice actors. I can relate to a client, from the business side of it.
I also have been hired because of my ability to be very conversational in my reads when the direction calls for it. I have a real grasp on how to interpret copy..and convey it the way it should be based on the type of audition.
